So ... After ~ re-applying MX-4 thermal paste through the credit card spreading technique I"m gaining phenomenal temps, especially if ns compare to the vault ones. Sadly i don"t have actually pics because that previous temps. Currently the full chip has actually spread paste and also I have amazing temps. Many thanks for every your assist guys you"ve been invaluable come me.  This object is at last , closed.

Hello guys and also gals. I"ve wrote in this forum countless times trying to get aid from small things here and there . (From instance fans come air cooling, temps etc.) My concern is simple. Would certainly a consistent 60-63 degrees C injury my CPU on the long run? say 3-4 months. Ns don"t do heavy stuff like video clip rendering, I just play games. My specs.Case : Aerocool QS180 PSU: Corsair CX430MOBO: MSI 760GMGPU: R7 260 OCCPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BEMy fan config is a shitty exhaust pan (prolly 80mm) from aerocool that came with the case and also I"ve inserted one coolermaster cheap 80mm fan together intake in the front through zip ties (as it"s function is for 120mm) and I"m rocking one aftermarket cooler , Arctic Cooling Freezer A11. I"ve contacted their customer support and also they claimed that it"s entirely fine the 60 ~ C with this setup. BUT! will my PC and also especially mine CPU last with these temps till I to buy a brand-new case and fans? Thanks...

From your usage I doubt it will be at 60-65C all of the time? Or is the idle temps? If you have actually normal use through 65C max, you will be fine because that 7+ years. If that is 65C 24/7, you will certainly lose few years from lifetime, so probably 5 years at least and all after that room gained.

I"d stay with that. Choose said, you"d have to be to run 65C 24/7 for years to something happen. For regular use and just few hours the high temps are fine because that 7+ years.

My old CPU had max that 77C. It pertained to me used ago in 2011. Its quiet in use.
